Rory Amoy began his career as a teacher and thrived as a musician, winning the ‘most outstanding instrumental student’ award in year 12 (whilst also achieving an ATAR of 93.8) and more recently he has gone on to release a studio album or EP. In his early twenties Rory decided to embrace responsibility and believe in his inherent potential to make something of himself. Since then, he has flourished in his role as a humanities teacher, embodying values like “always pursue the truth, even when it presents challenges” and “avoid doing and saying things that you know to be wrong.” Recently he has assumed leadership positions at Concordia College and also taken the initiative to visit Europe to absorb the places he has studied.
